THE DETAILS
The gold colour is applied using PVD — Physical Vapour Deposition — the same process used on luxury watches. It bonds at a molecular level rather than sitting on top. It won’t tarnish, peel, or wear through. Denise bought the Masterly and her friend asked if it was 22 carat gold: “My friend saw the ring and she asked me if the ring was 22 carat gold as it looks heavy and expensive.”
Titanium is roughly 50% lighter than traditional metals like tungsten and gold. Adrian noticed it immediately: “Ring quality is superb and lightweight. A full gold titanium band with a brushed centre flanked by polished gold edges and a centre groove that runs the full circumference. Titanium rates 6 on the Mohs hardness scale — harder than gold and platinum, and tough enough for daily wear. It will develop a fine patina of surface marks over time, but these polish out easily. The real advantage is weight: titanium is roughly 50% lighter than traditional metals. That makes a noticeable difference on the hand, especially for someone who has never worn a ring before.
