THE DETAILS
Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest materials used in jewellery. The black PVD finish is bonded at a molecular level, not plated on top, so it won’t scratch from keys, tools, or daily contact. The purple accent is set against a polished black PVD band. It’s a deliberate, clean detail — enough to set the ring apart without being loud. Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest materials used in jewellery — 9 on the Mohs scale, one step below diamond. It won’t scratch from everyday contact, won’t bend under pressure, and won’t tarnish from moisture or skin.
The black finish is applied with PVD coating — a vapour deposition process that bonds colour at a molecular level rather than plating it on top. The same process used on luxury watches. The weight is comparable to 18K gold — the Roxo feels substantial and solid on the finger.
